When Do I Need a Tire Change?
Your tires are the only thing holding your car to the road. As the tread wears down, your tires begin to lose their grip in wet or slippery conditions. Worn out tires impact the handling performance and safety of your vehicle, so it’s important to get your tires changed when they need it.
Repairable
We can repair a punctured tire if:
- The puncture is in the center of the tire tread, not on the shoulder or sidewall
- The tire’s tread depth is over the recommended minimum height of 2/32 inch (1.6mm)
- The puncture did not occur on another repair patch
- The tire sidewall and shoulder are not damaged
- There is no aging or deterioration of the tire
- The tire is not a Run Flat
Unrepairable
We will replace the tire if the puncture is located in the outer tread block or sidewall of the tire, if it is too large for a standard sized plug or at an obscure angle.
